The outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020 had led to a surge in the development of new anti-microbial products around the world. A suitable dispenser was in high demand, with many current ones unable to deliver an effective solution that didn't require touch activation from the end-user.
Bradley's Metal Finishers Ltd, a contract metal finisher in the UK, saw an opportunity to quickly develop an anti-microbial hand sanitiser dispenser that users wouldn't need to touch.
Health professionals emphasized that protective measures like social distancing and thorough and regular sanitisation with anti-microbial cleansers could flatten the curve.
The main challenge facing Bradley's was ensuring the sanitiser dispenser didn't require manual activation (i.e. touch) from the user.
Bradley's to quickly develop the right type of dispenser that could be mass-manufactured at an affordable price.
How We Helped
Innovolo were engaged to design a risk analysis of the dispenser, achieve the desired intellectual property protection and complete all remaining steps of the project using the Innovolation Framework™.
