Kawneer, a leading manufacturer of architectural aluminium systems, was looking for a solution to help them improve safety and efficiency in the production of their AA720 standard casement window press tool. The client approached us looking for a solution to improve safety and efficiency in their production process. Their existing AA720 standard casement window press tool was bulky and difficult to use, which posed a safety risk to operators. In addition, the client needed to find a way to follow stringent UK safety regulations. We worked closely with the client to understand their needs and develop a solution that would meet their requirements. We designed and manufactured a custom-made operator guarding solution that was easier to use and more compact than the existing tool. In addition, we implemented a number of proprietary safety features to meet UK regulations.
