Failure

Product development, despite using many different scientific disciplines working concurrently, is not a science. It is an art and a social process. The only problem could be said to stem from having so many people involved in the product development process and their various theories and opinions about what is best for the overall project.

Failure happens in product development. It happens all the time. At least that's what we'd like to believe, so we can tell ourselves "it could be worse." But it really is true: Failure does happen and it needs to be planned for and dealt with as a normal occurrence, not an anomaly or something out of the ordinary.
