Lean Six Sigma

In product development, the term "lean six sigma" is used to describe a process of continual improvement that seeks to eliminate waste and improve quality. The lean six sigma approach consists of four main steps: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC). By following these steps, product developers can continually refine their processes and product designs to create products that are more efficient and of higher quality. In addition to product development, lean six sigma can also be applied to other areas such as manufacturing, healthcare, and service delivery. By incorporating lean six sigma into all aspects of their operations, businesses can achieve significant improvements in quality and efficiency.
